Johnecia has been an SLP with KM Peds since May 2009. She completed the master's degree program for speech-language pathology at UNC-Greensboro. Throughout her graduate studies she worked as an intern in the field of speech-language pathology. Johnecia's internships included the Phoenix Academy, where she assessed and treated children's speech and language delays, and a private pediatric therapy company, similar to KM Peds, where language therapy was conducted in natural setting environments. Johnecia has also worked as a preschool teacher. She has acquired extensive pediatric experience with KM Peds. Johnecia is licensed by the board of North Carolina and has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
